PEORIA, IL/DETROIT, MI (September 11, 2003) – Advanced Technology Services, Inc. (ATS) announced today that its new Detroit Regional Office is officially open. ATS will celebrate its new Detroit location with an Open House on September 17 and 18, 2003. Located in Livonia, MI, at 12400 Belden Court, this facility will establish an expanded base of operations for ATS, enabling the company to better provide maintenance and repair services to its current and future customer base. This ATS regional office will also provide increased employment to the southeastern Michigan area. When fully staffed, ATS plans to employee between 75 and 130 people at this location. ATS began the transfer of a number of its capabilities from Medina, Ohio, to Detroit in May of 2003, with the completion scheduled for the end of September 2003.
The Detroit Regional Office will serve as a regional headquarters and base for ATS’ factory maintenance services, as well as a sales office and a regional service center for its parts repair business. The service center repair capabilities at this location will include: electronic drive repair, servo motor repair, spindle balancing and repair, and associated component repair. ATS’ services encompass total factory maintenance, associated spare parts repair and management, and calibration services.
